Brantford Blast Tryouts

Brantford’s explosive entry for the 2008/2009 OHA Senior A hockey season is getting set to launch its 7th annual try-out camp. Only players determined to detonate the competition in front of the largest, most highly charged crowds in the League need apply.

We are building a team that can repeat as Allan Cup Champions in April 2009 in Steinbach, Manitoba.

WHERE & WHEN:

Brantford & District Civic Center
69 Market Street
Brantford, Ontario

Saturday September 6th
Sunday September 7th
Time: 12 noon to 3pm

WHY:

To evaluate all prospective players in order to ensure that wedo not miss any diamonds in the rough to help us repeat as Allan Cup Champions.

WHAT:

Try-out camp will consist of a number of teams made up of prospects participating in scrimmage situations for 1 1/2 hour games, under observation and written evaluation. Teams will have 15 skaters and 2 goalies.

HOW:

Each prospect must register on or before August 15/08
The first 68 prospects WILL be accepted.

WHO:

The try-out camp is for men and women 18 years of age and over who want to play at the Senior A level. Graduating junior & college players, former professionals and players returning from the NHL welcome. Evaluation will be conducted by our professional staff.

The cost is $199 per prospect.

Each prospect will play in two games, receive a Brantford Blast training camp hockey jersey and post game meals.
